Touching the Earth/ Deep Relaxation

Tomorrow night, Monday, at 5:30 behind Mystic Mountain we will meet and practice again.  Please arrive by 5:20 in order to find a seat and begin to settle.  Please bring an extra blanket with you

The practice of Touching the Earth, also known as bowing deeply or prostrating, help us return to the Earth and to our roots, and to recognize that we are not alone but connected to a whole stream of spiritual and blood ancestors.  We touch the earth to let go of the idea that we are separate and to remind ourselves that we are the Earth and part of Life.

For our practice to grow deeper we must embrace our heritage, our maternal and paternal ancestors, spiritual ancestors, the land we inhabit, those we love, and those with whom we need to reconcile.
