This will be a very special opportunity for us to learn of the progress, and how we will benefit from the forthcoming Sangha Jewel Temple, Corvallis. Mushin and several members of the Corvallis Zen Center (our sister sangha which meets Sundays, at the Yoga Center on Second Street) will join us in our meditations. They have been working hard on this for several years. During this special tea, they will share with us the progress that has been made, a view of what lies ahead, discuss how Five Stones will benefit, and offer ways we can contribute to the creation of a dharma center for all the dharma traditions in Corvallis to meet and have special events. They have gathered a large financial base and have immediate and future plans to share. There will be time for questions and answers.
Paul and Irene will co-facilitate.
Corvallis Friends Meeting House, 3211 NW Polk, Corvallis. 5:30 to 7:00 PM.
"A human being is made of five elements: form (the body), feelings, perceptions, mental formations (ideas, notions, and thoughts), and consciousness. These elements are your territory, the space you occupy. To know the real situation within yourself, you have to know your own territory, including the elements within you that are at war with each other. In order to bring about harmony, reconciliation, and healing within, you have to understand yourself". Thich Nhat Hanh
