Sangha Tea and Meditation.
Our monthly tea is a wonderful opportunity to slow-down, share tea and either seasonal fruit or cookies, and support our own practice of Mindfulness. We recognize our mindfulness as the energy that makes transformation of any anger, fear, suffering, etc., possible. By developing a solid practice we will be able to benefit ourselves, and all those around us. We will practice guided, walking and formal seated meditations. Hope everyone can make it.
Buddha 101 still has a couple of openings, and confidential scholarships are available. Please email Ken at firstname.lastname@example.org. A registration confirmation letter will be emailed tomorrow, and further information related to all those registered for this Thursday's first session (5:30, Friends Meeting House, larger room to the left).
Next week is Labor Day, and we will meet as usual. We will recite the Five Mindfulness Trainings, and examine them in the light of Buddha 101 teachings this coming Thursday. We will be recording them and hope to be able to post them on our webpage.
