We have the honor of a visit by Dharmarcharya Jerry Braza, a Dharma Teacher in our tradition, the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh and the Community of Mindful Living, the Tu Hieu Lineage. This is an opportunity to share our practice, enjoy our seed-watering, as he delivers a Dharma Talk on The Meaning of Taking Refuge, and enjoy his happy presence. He is a great communicator.
Brother Jerry will be the Bell Minder, and lead us in guided, walking and sitting meditations. Dharma Discussion will be followed by tea and potluck munchies.
I hope everyone can make this. He is a skillful teacher, and journeys to us once or twice a year. This will be for sangha only, the public is not invited, so we will have a great opportunity to share the practice with him. Arrive before 5:25 and be seated before 5:30.
A separate dana opportunity will be available to help offset his expenses and show our appreciation.
